James' 18 month stats~

Well we finally got James to his 18mth checkup a little late but oh well! He did great as always, the shot hurt him but he didn't cry as long as the last time just cried for like 15seconds maybe then he was just fine after that!! What a trooper - we got a tough little boy here! He checked out great, has a little bit of a skin issue, nothing bad or serious just gets little sores every so often on his face usually just out of the blue and of course I can't remember what the doctor called it but it's something very treatable - also he still has some issues w/indigestion so we got some med's for that and hope he grows out of it soon, his attacks are very hurtful and it makes me so sad for him! Other then that he is GREAT - here are his stats:

Weight:  28lb 3oz - 77th percentile

Height:  34 1/2 inches - 97th percentile

Head:   18 inches - 50th percentile

The four faces of James - he lights up our life and we love him so deeply, he's a joy to have in our house! We love you sweet boy...

Since time is the reason I never post on my blog then I obviously don't have time for a LONG catch up post so I'll try and just keep it to a couple pic's per month as much as I can and give the 'short' version of this past year since I've posted last - here it goes!!

 James became famous, he/we got interviewed for a fundraiser on Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia's!

BYU Women's Conference - Stayed at my beautiful friends place in Park City, good times!

 Spring Break in Las Vegas - took Brooklynn & Ezzy to The Lion King - amazing!

 Girls Weekend in Arizona w/my besties from High School and forever!!

 Spencer on his bike w/out training wheels for the first time like he was a pro :)

 Happy Easter and General Conference Weekend :)

We got the opportunity to go to Cancun, Mexico in October as well so I'll leave that for the next post b/c there's so many great pic's and this is already full of so many - so to be continued :) Hope you all had a great summer and just recently Halloween now onto Thanksgiving and the holiday's I just can't believe there already here - soooo crazy but lots of fun to be had :)

JaNuArY uPdAtE ~

 So I came across this picture of me from when I was the same age as James is right now about 11mths give or take and thought there was a big resemblance so I tried taking some pics of James downstairs to emulate my pic the best I could and he wasn't having it! He knew he was gonna go in the hot tub w/his daddy and he didn't want to miss out on anything knowing his dad was just outside starting w/out him - but I picked the one where he was squinting w/not a happy face but it was the closest It came to looking like my pic. What do you guys think?? Cheeks, nose, eyes, even the hair a little and chubbies all look familiar, right?!? :) 

The rest of the pictures are just some cute shots we took during this CoLd winter month of JaNuArY.. it's almost over now, YAY!!! February here we come!! Busy month ahead - Valentines Day, my parents coming to town for a long weekend over Presidents day holiday, our 5th Anniversary, James' 1st Birthday and hopefully get some skiing in too!! Annual Snowmobile Party!

Each year in the beginning of the snowmobile season we love to gather around w/our family and good friends to break in the new fleet of Snowmobiles, this year we didn't have new one's to save money but still wanted to have our party! So we did! Once again though our Brooky wasn't there b/c we had to switch weekends w/her daddy but she was there in spirit! We had a great turnout even though the weather didn't cooperate very well for us but we made the best of it and it wasn't too bad overall! We had a campfire for warmth, hay barrels to sit on, (which the government had to of course get involved b/c hay barrels are so dangerous, something about the hay not being certified or whatever who knows just their way of having control ALL the time. My poor husband can't ever catch a break when it comes to the government) yummy chili n cheese, soft bread sticks and delicious hot chocolate to warm our soul :) Thanks to all our loved one's who came and celebrated the start of our season w/us we love you all and are so blessed to have each of you in our life!

He was so comfy and cozy warm he just fell asleep in my arms for at least an hour!
