Fun in the sun at Hardware Ranch!

We decided to take the kids up the canyon to Hardware Ranch since it was such a beautiful sunny day! Also nice to get outside and have a little fun! So we rounded up the fam, some hot chocolate and snow gear and headed out the door!
Brooklynn got to bring her friend that lives next door, Braiden. He was such a joy to have with us, It's nice to know that there are such good parents that teach their children so well how to be respectful and good when there with other people! He is a GREAT kid, way to go Parker Family!

They have sleigh rides around the field where all the Elk graze everyday and all day to get some grub! There were some really nice bull elk there it was really cool to see. Of course living with a husband that MAKES me go hunting with him sometimes ;) I've seen my fair share of elk but it was still pretty cool to see so many at once and not running away from you if they see you in the mountains, b/c they think your going to shoot them!


So after going on the sleigh ride we all had hot chocolate and treats while the kids and uncle's had a snowball fight! I don't know what it is with snow but men and well Brooklynn too seem to automatically think "snowball fight" sweet!!! But it makes for good entertainment that's for sure!
