Easter Gatherings...

Okay so I know this is wayyy late but it's better now than never, right? So the week before Easter my sister comes up the stairs and sais hey, we're going to Washington to help mom and dad with the remodeling so they could have room for Mike & Leticia to get moved in! So we figured out our schedule and said sweet we're in too! So off we were on a very spontaneous trip to Yakima and it happened to be Easter weekend too so it worked out great! We took the great big truck so we could all ride together, it had so much room it was very nice! So we finally arrived and off to work that next morning we go bright and early! There were fire's to be had, walls to be demolished, loads and loads of who know's what carried outside to be gone through of G&G's stuff, a worthless and gross pool that stank like poo to be demolished into pieces so it could even be hauled off the grass, doors-molding-heaters-lights&fans to be installed, electricity to be well played with is what I think they were really doing since nothing seemed to work just right after they were done messing with it;) and last but not least fitting in some sort of an Easter celebration in with all the work that we were trying to get done in 2 days! But yes Easter was saved! There was egg's being boiled and then colored of course by the adorable kids! We got a fun Easter egg hunt going before church started and yes the normal Easter dinner with yummy mashed patatoes and Ham was delicious - oh wait I must of been dreaming we didn't fit that one in but we did have an absolutely delicious Easter brunch before church and that was better than nothing and less cleanup I think ;) So all in all we made out pretty dang well I think and especially the kids, the Easter bunny was good to them for sure... What ever happened to the Easter bunny anyway, why doesn't he come to parents? I just can't even remember when it stopped really and why does it have to stop, so so so not fare! But I guess it's fun too to see the smile on your kids' face and the excitement as there going through there baskets who could ask for anything more!

I was in LA but I think the Easter Bunny got the memo and left a basket for me at the mom's house. And that's why I don't have kids...candy candy candy.

Happy Easter. You guys are crazy! I remember the days of those crazy last minute trips. I Just can't pull them off any more. Riding too many hours in a mini van with 4 little ones takes careful planning. Good for you and way to go helping out when family was in a hitch. Looks like some fun times.

Cute Easter pics and videos Jaimee! Spencer looks like a little stud! I love his hair. I am glad you guys were able to go help out and visit with your family in Washington. Good times!
