My family all arrived early early Friday morning to spend Halloween together which was a first for all of us since mom & dad came and it was the first time meeting the kids! I can't tell you in words how exciting it was to finally meet these precious kids face to face! They are more beautiful in person! They all have such different personalities and they are ALL so HAPPY! Their faces were beaming with joy all weekend! All day Friday they had so much fun just playing in the backyard, hot tubbin, riding our horses and riding the 4wheelers! They were non-stop all day long! We made our traditional Chili in a pumpkin recipe w/scones and it was a definate hit! I added more meat this time and it was the best one yet! I love that tradition...Then all the kids got their costumes on and off we went trick or treating! This was the kids' very first Halloween and it was so awesome to experience it with them! They were bouncing off the walls with excitement over this holiday and it definetely made me realize how lucky we are to experience these great holiday's b/c not everyone in the world does and we are so blessed! Thank you so much Rachel and Adam for bringing them here and we can't wait until Thanksgiving to spend that with them-another first!!!

On Saturday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and spent most of the day outside! Rachel and Adam wanted their family pictures taken in the leaves since there are none in Las Vegas so we helped them out getting those done--which we all know how much fun family pictures can be!! The pictures turned out fabulous and the kids did so good we were very proud! Then afterwards some went to the Aggie football game so the kids could experience their first one ever! It worked out perfectly since the Aggies actually won for once!!! The kids also went crazy for our hot tub!!! They would of stayed in that the entire weekend if we let them!!

We ended our weekend with two Birthday Celebrations! Dad's Birthday was Sunday so we had his party Saturday night! Mom's Birthday is in a week so we sang to her too since we were all together then! They are such great people those two we are all so appreciative of you in every way! Thanks for being the best parents ever!!! We ended the night around our campfire chatting and having such a relaxing time visiting! Rachel got to catch up with our neighbor, whom she is friends with from living here, and that was such a great ending to such a great day! Thanks Becky for coming we all enjoyed your company so much! Hope everyone had a Spooky Halloween this year and enjoyed the warm - no jacket wearing weather!!!

I taught William to say Trick-or-treat. American holidays rule!
