HALLOWEEN FUN!

My family all arrived early early Friday morning to spend Halloween together which was a first for all of us since mom & dad came and it was the first time meeting the kids! I can't tell you in words how exciting it was to finally meet these precious kids face to face! They are more beautiful in person! They all have such different personalities and they are ALL so HAPPY! Their faces were beaming with joy all weekend! All day Friday they had so much fun just playing in the backyard, hot tubbin, riding our horses and riding the 4wheelers! They were non-stop all day long! We made our traditional Chili in a pumpkin recipe w/scones and it was a definate hit! I added more meat this time and it was the best one yet! I love that tradition...Then all the kids got their costumes on and off we went trick or treating! This was the kids' very first Halloween and it was so awesome to experience it with them! They were bouncing off the walls with excitement over this holiday and it definetely made me realize how lucky we are to experience these great holiday's b/c not everyone in the world does and we are so blessed! Thank you so much Rachel and Adam for bringing them here and we can't wait until Thanksgiving to spend that with them-another first!!!

On Saturday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and spent most of the day outside! Rachel and Adam wanted their family pictures taken in the leaves since there are none in Las Vegas so we helped them out getting those done--which we all know how much fun family pictures can be!! The pictures turned out fabulous and the kids did so good we were very proud! Then afterwards some went to the Aggie football game so the kids could experience their first one ever! It worked out perfectly since the Aggies actually won for once!!! The kids also went crazy for our hot tub!!! They would of stayed in that the entire weekend if we let them!!

We ended our weekend with two Birthday Celebrations! Dad's Birthday was Sunday so we had his party Saturday night! Mom's Birthday is in a week so we sang to her too since we were all together then! They are such great people those two we are all so appreciative of you in every way! Thanks for being the best parents ever!!! We ended the night around our campfire chatting and having such a relaxing time visiting! Rachel got to catch up with our neighbor, whom she is friends with from living here, and that was such a great ending to such a great day! Thanks Becky for coming we all enjoyed your company so much! Hope everyone had a Spooky Halloween this year and enjoyed the warm - no jacket wearing weather!!!

Video of our trip...

Here we are at the Animal Kingdom in Florida...All the kids loved the petting zoo part I guess no matter where you are in the world you can never go wrong with a petting zoo! The cute part about this is that Spencer found where the brushes were, grabbed one and started brushing this goat all on his own it was so cute our little baby is not such a baby anymore!!!

Here is Brooklynn with Gavin and Aunt Randi feeding the birds in Santo Domingo the Capital of Dominican Republic. We had a tour guide to show us all the historic buildings in the Colonial Zone.

On the Cruise they split up dinner with the first group eats at 6 I think and the second group would eat at 8...We were the lucky second so each night we wouldn't eat until 8pm which we got used to but usually would end up going to bed right after dinner but some nights not. One night we all decided to walk around and found this cute place where there was music and dancing so all the kids start doing there thing!! It was so cute watching the kids get their groove on but Spencer found those bongos and once the drummer let him play he wouldn't leave them alone!

Spencer found his new love on our trip and Donald Duck wasn't having it!! He wasn't afraid of any of the characters and it was so cute when he walked up to these ducks! He went right to them got a cute pic and then didn't want to leave Daisy--he kept staring at her and Donald was quite jealous...It was the cutest moment of his character meetings!!! Brooklynn wasn't their again she was so loving the kids club and kept wanting to go so we don't have any video of her with the characters which is sad but she had a choice and the choice was ALWAYS the kids club!!

So here is a video of Spencer & Brian getting to play with a monkey in Cozumel! I tried and tried to find something with Brooklynn in a video but she is just way too shy and scared lately of everything I don't know why but I'm hoping it's just a phase! There was a cuter video but I picked the one that we at least have the attempt of getting Brooklynn to hold the monkey and of course she wouldn't! But that's okay...Well that concludes our trip I hope you all enjoyed our fun and exciting memories!! I know we did -- mostly ;-)

Thank you so much Randi & Brent for getting us these pictures...I was so excited to be able to post something from our trip even if there not the pictures we took from our camera! That's something we've all had to just accept that we'll never see those pictures again :-( So we are very grateful that yours & Ginger's weren't stolen! What a relief...
Below are pictures from the Disney Cruise on the boat of fun!!!

DISNEY CRUISE & THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TRIP

So we are back to reality and getting back into our routine's! Can I just tell you I have never in my life felt so completely grateful for what we have and the country we live in! I've been to the Dominican Republic (DR) before but taking the kids and being in a large group makes it a completely different experience...Well I'll start with the first week of our trip which was Florida and the Disney Cruise! I do have to say that was the BEST part of the trip hands down! We flew to Orlando, Florida a day early so we could go to Sea world before we boarded the ship! That was a full day of great shows, rides and all different types of animals and the kids LOVED it! Then Sat Oct 4th we boarded the Disney Cruise ship -- what a day! 7 nights of bliss... There was of course stressful times which happens anytime you are in a very small space w/no windows, 2 kids and not enough room for all your luggage! We will definitely spend the extra money on a bigger room next time that's for sure!!! But for the most part every part of the cruise was extraordinary! We would highly recommend this cruise to anybody of all ages with or without kids! They had things for everyone and the ship is GREAT!

We had 2 Sea days which were my favorite--of course we took advantage of it and had massages in there beautiful spa how could you not! Then we had 4 port days to different places! Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Castaway Cay (which is the island Disney owns in the Bahamas)! Our favorite was Castaway Cay for sure! Their sand there and beaches were PERFECTLY soft and white...And the snorkeling was fabulous! They had sunken ships, treasures and lots of really cool things to see while snorkeling!

In Key West we just walked the streets (Duval St.) and went to a Butterfly museum which the kids LOVED! Then went almost to the farthest most southern point of the US. Then on the walk back enjoyed some good ice cream and a little shopping!

In Grand Cayman we took a tour of the island in an air conditioned bus which was great b/c it was HOT! We stopped at a beach, a place they call HELL and saw many historical places and of course all the banks where the rich hide there illegal money ;-). We really wanted to go scuba diving there but I didn't have enough time to get certified so we will make that a priority so the next place we go Brian and I can do that together he really wants me to do that with him sometime and I think it would be AWESOME!!

In Cozumel we did some shopping, got a mini massage, played w/a monkey, bartered and took another tour around part of the island. The tour took us to the Ruins there which were cool to see except for all the mosquito's and other biting creatures, luckily they sold bug spray there hhmm wonder why!! Anyway then the next stop was at a nice beach area with some good food so we got in the ocean for a short swim and then back on the ship!

On the cruise they had Disney characters all the time for kids to get autographs and pictures with there favorite characters! Also they had a kids club that the kids could go anytime they wanted and for as long as they wanted! There was always so much fun things going on Brook always wanted to go which was great for mom and dad;) Also there was a nursery for 3 and under that weren't potty trained but the only downer on that is that you had to reserve and they booked up fast also it was $6 p/hour so we only had Spencer in there one day for like 6 hrs so we definitely took advantage of the only area of the ship kids aren't aloud while he was in there and that was really nice and very quiet, imagine that! They had shows every night, parties for kids during the day, a character breakfast where they came to your table for pictures and autographs, tons of swimming pools, A formal night, a pirate party where everyone was dressed up as pirates and fireworks! There was so much more but I'm already writing way too much! You'll just have to go on one yourself to know EVERYTHING!!! It was a sad day when it was over but we all still had another week of vacation so we focused on that but yet we were also partly ready to come home too but DR here we come! --

I guess just before we had our flight to the DR we had a full day to do something so we decided to go to the Disney Animal Kingdom...There was so much to see and so little time for us most people go for 2-3 days but we only had like 5 hrs but I think we saw a TON for the amount of time we had and it was well worth it! We all enjoyed it and the ride they had was AWESOME one of my favorites! Now it's off to the Dominican Republic...

Well as for the second half of our trip this is why we were so grateful for where we live--It started out by getting there at like almost midnight, then having absolute drama at the car rental place (never rent from AVIS) let's just say our hotel was 15 min from the airport and we didn't get checked in until 1:30am! It took almost 2 hrs at the car rental place and still left with not what we reserved, just absolutely crazy but we made it work! So once we get to the hotel and go to the rooms they were completely not what we had reserved online AT ALL! We reserved ocean front and the rooms to have 2 beds! We got the oldest bldg with the oldest rooms and only 1 bed in each room! So when you have a family of four how does that work when you have 1 Queen bed and NO WATER! Brian went to take a shower and there wasn't any water at all! Then everyone else had freezing cold water for showers! Also you can't drink the water out of the tap there and there was NO bottled water ANYWHERE in the hotel so Brian and Loran went into town to get some and had some great stories to tell after that! I'll leave that to the imagination! So the next day Brian and I complained to the manager and we got the rooms we reserved in the first place just only thing was only 1 was ready that night but the rest would be available the next 2 nights so we took them anyway and after that we had a GREAT time there! They had water aerobics in the pool and we went kayaking and got a sailboat too so it was a good time just had to go through a lot of rough times first! Isn't that life though!

Then we headed to the west side of the island where Brian served most of his mission time but it was a 4 hr drive which was ok since the kids slept most the way so that made it nice! But once again when we got to the hotel there they didn't have the rooms we reserved! What is going on we had all just had it at that point! And again we were there waiting FOREVER while getting bitten like crazy from the mosquito's there which btw were way worse than in Boca Chica the central part of the island! Anyway we get into our rooms and they still weren't what we reserved but at that point we just didn't care anymore at least they had 2 beds that was all we cared about at that point! Then there food there was very different from what we had at the previous resort but not in a good way! But we made the most of it the best we could! We swam and went snorkeling which was an awesome experience I thought! Some Dominicans took us out on a small boat and we went out into the ocean! It was just the parents and no kids of course, thanks to Marcile for staying back and listening for the kids while they slept and watching Brooklynn for us! Well some had their own snorkeling gear and some didn't so we used the Dominicans and well lets just say who knows what was growing on those mouthpieces--uuuccckkkkk--I can't think about it! But it was raining on us hard and we were so cold we didn't care we just wanted to jump in the WARM water! I love the Caribbean!! Once we jumped in it was like a hot tub I didn't want to get out! But we snorkeled out there in the open sea and even went to the drop off which was a little scary I have to admit but what a cool experience! So it seemed like things were looking up, we were all excited after that and thinking at least the trip will end on a good note!

Well we had one day left so we took a drive to the next city to see the ocean and play on the beach! We pulled over at a couple outlook's to take pictures and see the gorgeous views! The first place there was a lot of people around and kids came and talked with us for a while and one even had a crush on Brooklynn it was really cute! So they asked for some money to buy food--there is a lot of poverty there and we had handed out coins to children throughout the trip--seems like the right thing to do right!! Well we gave them some and that was that we loaded up and headed farther to another outlook--we saw some shade and decided to make our sandwiches and eat there! We were parked farther down the outlook by the highway but there wasn't any other people around! So we're all eating having a GREAT time and loving the most American food we've had since the cruise and just all very happy! So Brian took the kids on a walk up to the top of the outlook b/c they were getting restless since not everyone was done eating yet--also Loran (Brian's dad and his brother Brent and little Zaylee) So all of a sudden I hear we're being robbed! I look up and there's a gun pointed at Brian with both our kids by his side...Brook had Spencer's hand and they were frozen and just staring at the guy w/a gun! I as a mother was frantic not sure what to do, my first reaction was to run up there and get my kids out of there--but then logic hit and realized but what if that spooks the robbers and they shoot someone and so I just stared in sorrow of what was happening and felt so helpless and just HOPING that we get out of this with everyone safe! There was a second man that didn't have a gun over at Brent taking his stuff from his pockets and Zaylee was screaming for her mommy which was down below w/me and the others by the car still. Luckily Loran was there to hold her and try to comfort her the best way he could! Loran was the last one they got to so he had time to take his wallet out of his pocket and put it in the back of his pants hoping the guy wouldn't look. Sadly though he still had his camera in his pocket which they took from him. They took $100 from Brent and his Treo phone that had his whole life on it and luckily Brian didn't have much cash in his wallet (which is unusual for Brian) so they only got like $40 or $60 bucks from him but took his camera as well...And that camera had EVERYTHING from the past 2 in a half weeks on it!!! It's all gone and that was the saddest part for our family--especially dear Brooklynn...She broke down that night in tears just sobbing about the pictures we had taken of special things and all the characters on the trip she really had a rough time with it but we snuggled and with some words of comfort she is now doing better with it! So sadly I am posting this with no pictures included from our camera--I am hoping to get some from the other 2 families that were there that didn't get there camera's stolen, so if I do I will post those later! I guess we at least have the 5 pictures that we purchased from Disney of the kids and the characters so I'll at least post those on here! But we all came out of it ok and no one was hurt and that's all that matters! We are so lucky and grateful that these punk teenage kids didn't freak out and shoot someone! Brian said he saw them shaking as he held the gun and was in his pockets! Oh and the craziest part was after the robber's ran off with our stuff the guys ran down to us and flagged down the first Dominican that came down the highway and told all of us woman & kids to get in the car and lock it. So we got in and I couldn't find the keys ANYWHERE..We started to get concerned that the robber grabbed the keys out of Brian's pocket while grabbing everything else. It was so hot w/out the car started so we had to open the doors and just wait for them to come back praying (literally) that they wouldn't come back to the car! We did say a prayer and just waited... Finally Brent came back to check on us and decided to just go up to where we were robbed and look on the ground hoping they were there. HE FOUND THEM!!!! Such a relief... So we aren't sure if the robber had some kind of conscious and threw them on the ground and didn't want them or if they just fell out while he was grabbing everything else...We would like to hope he had a conscious and left them there!! Well that was the rest of our day--nope we didn't want to go to the beach as planned after that we all just wanted to go back to the hotel and just go home! What a bummer to end a trip on let me tell you! We had to go to the police station first though and had to wait a while until the guys got a report filled out. We all believe that it was some guys from the first outlook that saw us give money to those kids for food...There was a ton of them up there just hanging out and I'm sure they saw that or the kids told them that we gave them money and they decided that they deserved some too...It's really sad in life when you try to do the right thing and help out some poor hungry kids and for it to end in tragedy like that...It really makes it hard to want to do that again but I know that we probably will but we will be more cautious and take a tourist policeman with us next time!! But for sure we will NEVER go to the west side of the island ever again!!! That was our last time!

Don't get me wrong the Dominican Republic is a GREAT place and so beautiful! Brian has been there 5 times since his mission and me twice now and we LOVED it that's why we wanted to share it with our family since we were so close anyway while in Florida... It's just that when you go to a poverty stricken place like that you have to be so careful b/c there are desperate people there and they are willing to do anything for money... But I think it's all about the situation you put yourself in--we were in a place that there was NO ONE else around, we parked by the highway but then walking up it was hidden by trees so anyone on the highway wouldn't be able to see the robbers, and every Dominican person there said you should of had a Dominican with you or they do have tourist police there (which no one knew about after all the times we've been there) so if anyone goes or knows of anyone going just please relay these things to them especially the tourist police! Also to not carry things on you of great value or at least in your pockets don't carry a lot of money and always download your pictures onto your laptop or take several chips and not one big one that stores a ton of pictures that way you'd at least have some of them and they all wouldn't be taken! Well that's my two cents sorry this is such a long post but I felt it was important to share this story so in the future my loved ones will be able to know what to do in a situation like that or what not to do too!! We got home safe and we're SOOOO happy to be home and are really OKAY with not traveling for a long time!!!

Rules: Open your pictures file, go to the fourth folder, and then the fourth picture. Post the picture and write a little bit about what was going on!

So I found this on a friends blog, Joell, and couldn't resist - looked fun! So when I did the picture thing and saw that it ended up being this one I was so happy! I can't believe Brooklynn was actually this little once...It's amazing how fast the time goes! This picture was taken in St. George and I actually wasn't with her at this time she was with her daddy...But I do know she had a blast I mean seriously look at her face it sais everything!!!

10 YEAR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION--

Do people really ever change at high school reunions??? I couldn't believe I was at my 10 yr reunion already last month! Time flies by so fast -- where does it go?? I had a great time seeing my old friends and catching up with them! There's a couple that I have stayed very close to even now and always will their great! It wasn't the same without Morgs there but life happens sometimes and you deal, hope your doing okay Morgan!!! Thanks to Jen for driving all that way so we could see eachother since it's been like 3 years I think so that was great catching up with her and her great boyfriend! Melissa -- you were great for coming too I know you didn't want to and I'm glad you were able to keep Brian company poor guy--spouses that go to those things never have much fun since they don't know anyone and I know he enjoyed having your company! I'm glad you had come out here to Utah so he at least knew you well enough to feel comfortable! Anyway it was good to remaniss for a while but by the end of the night I was so ready to go home and had no desire to go to the next day's picnic...It's hard going to those things and the people you thought for sure would be differant in a good way arne't it's depressing! I mean seriously it's been 10 years let be adults already!!! Well I'm glad I went though and no regrets for sure hopefully the 20yr will be better--we'll see...

On a better note--it was great going home the weekend we did b/c it ended up being our nephew Chases birthday so we were there for that and the party-so great!!! I always love going home especially when we have parties! It definately can get crazy around there with so many people and kids but it's always worth it and we always come back wanting to go home again for more! Chasers sure has grown a strong personality it is so adorable! Hope you had the best first Birthday ever Chase, we love you!

These are some cute cute faces of very happy kids that weekend! Haiden's birthday was not too long after Chases but we of course missed his birthday so we hope you had an awesome birthday little guy, we love you too!!! He is so cute and finding his own personal ways of getting around since he hasn't walked yet and the funniest thing is that he'll be on one end of the room one second and not even a minute later you see him on the other side of the room and it had only been a minute he's so sneaky and fast and the craziest part is that he can't walk or crawl yet...how does that happen!!!

At the end of our trip there we took all the kids to the park in Moxee. Which is actually at my old Elementry school so that brought back many memories! The kids had a blast and we had to drag them to the cars b/c it was dark so it must be a fun playground!! It was a short trip but well worth it like always and can't wait for everyone to come to our house in November for Thanksgiving that will make for some good times for sure!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY...

I have been wanting to post this one for a while I'm sorry again it's so late! Words cannot express how happy we are for my sister Rachel and her sweet husband Adam! They were finally united with their beautiful children on August 5th and it was a very exciting and blessed day! My mom got to be there to help them out for the first 2 weeks and my dad went for a while too! There was a week that Rachel would be all alone since Adam, mom and dad had to all get back to work so we decided to do our best to help! There was no way Rach could do it alone with all the circumstances she faced! So Brian, since he knows spanish flew out to help her for a week in Bogata (sp?), Columbia! Boy did he have his plate full but he was willing and ready to do what was needed to help and I love him for being such a loving person to leave our business during a holiday weekend to help out loved ones in need! He is always there when someone needs help and I admire that about him! Also Rachel's friend Jena flew down to help her for a while too so Brian only had to deal with the laundry and housecleaning part of it for a few days till Jena came --lucky boy...But there was enough to handle besides that part of it to make anyone more mentally and physically tired than you could imagine! Well there all home now and Rachel has had her youngsters for 10 weeks already and there all settled great in Las Vegas and the kids are adapting very well! There coming for a visit Halloween weekend since me and the kids havn't met them yet so we are so so so excited! We'll get to experience and share their first Halloween what a blessing!!! So here are some pictures and video that Brian took while in Columbia...welcome to the coolest family ever kiddo's, we love you!

Here is a video of all the kids playing on the playground--this was a daily activity for them as long as they were good! But it was right next door to the apartment so it was very convienent!

This video was the long hike up to where you get a great view of the city in Columbia--not sure what the place was called but you get the just of it!! Beautiful sites!

This is a video of the city of Bogota--They had a long hike up to the top but well worth it and it was a fun family outing!

FuN vIdEoS oF oUr SuMmEr.....

Brooklynn did a really good job playing with Spencer during the summer in Bear Lake...they built a little play house together it was so cute!

Spencer is fascinated with the beach, sand and water! He would be out there all day if I'd let him! The only downfall was until uncle Adam dunked him and he realized how freazing cold Bear Lake water is he would constantely be running towards the water every second which wore me out pretty quickly! Thanks uncle Adam you are my hero, he was content to play in the sand and stay on the shore pretty much after that swim with you in July!

Brooklynn has always feared going down the fireman pole at Grandpa Hirschi's and the Hirschi Hideout's in Bear Lake...I thought it was b/c she was still so little back like 5 years ago but now that she's almost 8yrs old I was starting to get a little worried!! Well finally our miss Brooklynn has faced her fear and will now go down a pole and I caught it on tape to prove it! She was so proud of herself and so were we! She now will go down the others with her cousins' and be a brave big girl...way to go Brooky!!!

I had to throw this one in just because it is so dang cute!!! He is such a little ham when it comes to the camera and video! Way differant from sister-she is so shy when it comes to that stuff...amazing how differant personalities can be!

Since he was a newborn he has been attached to this blanket--it is for sure his best friend and always will be!! Too bad he didn't get attached to a smaller blanket though it is a pain to carry that thing around everywhere we go but this is his favorite and there's nothing I can do so we deal with it! It is super cute though how much he clings to this thing!

July..August..All wrapped up in one!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! Very long time ago anyway, like beginning of July, oh well! Ok so yes now that it is October I am just now posting my July and August post I had halfway done but never was able to finish and I can't stand not finishing something I start so here it is...better late than never right?! It seems like I say that way too often. Okay so I took a fun idea from a friend's blog, shauna, and I love it! Here is the mosaic picture maker website - enjoy I know I am!!!

So July was the month of a lot of work, sun, sand, birthdays, reunions, visits from family and friends and well now that it's been a couple months I can't think of any more which I'm sure there is ;-) But you get the picture and if you know us well you know it's also the most stressfull and busy month of the entire year for our business at Bear Lake! Got through another year and luckily we still came out a little ahead which was surprising b/c with the economy the way it is we were pretty worried...it definitely wasn't as good as last year but we survived and came out ahead at least that's all that matters!

We also had a great visit from my cousin Melissa who lives in the Seattle area! It was so nice to have her out here and the time we got to spend together was priceless! I am so thankful for the time she took off of work just to come visit us crazy people here in Utah!!! Also it was her birthday at the end of July too so we celebrated that, as she calls it the birthday she can remember ;-) We ended up at the water park here in Logan which was a lot of fun even though somehow we ended up with 2 more kids than originally planning but it ended up working out great! And the ice cream cake from Cold Stone was fabulous...You can always count on Cold Stone cakes to never dissapoint!!! And then once the kids were in bed and out for the count we had some cousin bonding time playing cards...yep finally we got to play some cards....Thanks again Liss for coming and I hope to have you out again for another fun and memorable trip!

Sorry this will be quite long since I am just finishing up the rest of the summer in this post. August was great it went by so fast and it seemed like as soon as I was settled in at our home in Bear Lake it was time to come back to Logan...It's funny how you might dread something when you first have to do it but then once it's passed you wished you hadn't taken it for granted b/c now your gonna miss it terribly! That's how I was feeling the last couple weeks living in Bear Lake...I know I only dread going there b/c of how busy and stressfull it can be but I realized how much I take that opportunity for granted and hopefully will remember that for next summer! So now we are back in Logan living in our beautiful home with great friends and neighbors surrounding us and finally getting back into the swing of things. Brooklynn is LOVING school this year and really enjoys her teacher which is a huge sigh of relief for me b/c the last two years have not gone so well for her so I hope it continues this way! I just can't believe she is in 2nd grade already...Where does the time go??? Spencer is growing and learning so fast! He is now 18 mths and is doing so many fun things right now it is a cute stage but let me tell you not everything is all the cute! He climbs on EVERYTHING...throws anything and everything...and boy oh boy can he throw tantrums yes people let me just tell you it is not the terrible 2's they start at 18 months don't be fooled!!! Consider this your warning.... But I wouldn't trade him for the world and I know that with every climb and every throw he is learning so many great things in his development so I am trying to be patient! These kids are great and we are very lucky parents and we are so very proud of them!!!

BEACH BUMS!!!

I know pretty brave to put this picture on arn't I but it went so perfect with my title I had to do it! I know I have been very slow on getting my posts up but please bare with me this summer and there will be more after the summer is over I promise! So please understand why when I do post there are so many pictures I try to combine a lot of activities since I don't get seperate one's up right now! The Hirschi family is just loving the lake this year. We always have but this year seems different since now Spencer is old enough to have fun on the beach and his sister has a play mate as well! We also get frequent visits from wonderful friends and family almost every weekend! Our newest friends, Kris and Doug, have come up a few times so we took advantage of relaxing on the beach with them and other friends who have either planned on coming or spontaneously come up! Brooklynn and Spencer are seriously water freaks! I can't keep them away from it and Spencer has no fear it definately keeps me on my toes that's for sure! Below are some pics of them not on the beach but in our yard! Doesn't have to be the beach for them to enjoy the water!! We turn on the sprinklers and or fill the little pool up and they have a blast without having to haul everything to the beach which I love sometimes! Also one day I had to change Spencer 3 different times. First I found him out there in his clothes so I stripped him down and let him swim. Well he was done so we dried him off and changed him into clothes well I guess he wasn't done. I found him outside and caught him in barely enough time to just have to change his shorts and socks...Well third times a charm they say and yep that's him the third time in ALL his clothes I said forget it and let him play like that there is no stopping that boy! If he wants to do something he will find a way, TON of determination just like his daddy!

Here are my cute friends Kris and Doug! They have a 2 month old baby boy named Duncan and we can't wait for him to get a little bigger so him and Spence will be best "neighbor friends" ;) Kris and Doug live just up the street from us only 2 houses up right now until more people build but still close enough we love it!!! Thanks for making the trip up so much Kris your amazing and I love our new friendship!

Also on that same day our other neighbors spontaneously headed over as well so we got to play with them too and it was so good to get to know them better and I can't wait to have more fun beach days at the lake with them! I was so sad I didn't get a picture of Becky but this is her husband up top holding there 16 mth old son's hand! There baby is Spencer's age so that was fun to have them up with all there kids for our kids to play with! Below is our babies being so so cute together there's another fabulous bum shot!!!

This fun beach trip was with our dear Aunt Rach and uncle Adam the weekend before they moved back to Vegas :( It was fun to get a little weekend getaway in one of our cabins with them though and they took awesome pictures for us on the beach of the equipment and our cute kids! We're going to miss you guys so much especially all the fabulous picture taking that gets done! Thanks for being the perfect roomates and the house is so empty with out you! Congrats on your new home in Las Vegas and good luck!!

Just more fun moments at our house this little stinker he is doing something mischevious in both these pictures but that is Spencer never a dull moment!
